Oscar Users,

OIT will be rearchitecting the underlying infrastructure of our Hibernate service. This is a change that was unanticipated, but required due to the service provider (FujiOA) terminating support for a critical component of the Hibernate service. In order to migrate to the new backend component (Qstar) we need to take an extended outage of the Hibernate service as we re-archive all our archived data.

What does this mean to you?

• You can still continue to submit the Hibernate archive requests.
• Based on your archive requests, the respective folder(s) quota will be increased temporarily until the migration is complete. There will be no cost associated with the temporary increase.
• After we archive the data on the new platform/software, we will revert back your original quota.
• Hibernate restore/delete services are NOT affected.

We hope the above-mentioned processes will facilitate the least disruptive path for all our Hibernate users during the migration period.

The Starfish and Hibernate service will be down for a database upgrade for 4 days starting Thursday May 19th 2:00 pm. The maintenance is expected to last until May 23, 2022, 2:00 PM. This service will not be available during this maintenance period.
